This 10-piece zoo set is handmade from alder wood and simply finished in olive oil. It comes in a small handmade, coloured box
(16.5 x 11 x 2.5 cm).
We have two different sets containing 1) an elephant, camel, penguin, monkey, giraffe, hippo, rhino, crocodile, polar bear and seal or 2) Tortoise, anteater, penguin, polar bear, seal, monkey, camel, rhino, elephant and giraffe.
Perfect for play and display - please note: these natural wooden toys are classed as art toys and have not been awarded EC certification. They vary in size, measuring up to. 9 x 5 x 1 cm and should be kept away from very young children.

This beautiful Victory plywood jigsaw depicts Industrial Life in England & Wales many moons ago. Composed of approx. 125 wooden pieces, all in excellent condition, it is bright, colourful and educational.
As shown on these few photos, the illustrations are on each county are clear and very charming. Once completed, the puzzle could easily be framed to decorate a child's room. It measures 28 x 33 x 0.5 cm.
The jigsaw comes with its original, time-worn box, with a couple of tears and repairs.

Spotted at a local flea market, this large wooden basket originally used for transporting fruit for "Les Fruits du Midi", has both its original, colourful labels.
These vintage baskets are fairly commonplace, but we have never come across any as charming or as well preserved as this.
Primitive, rusty and very old, this basket is certainly not for children although it would make an original storage and / or dispay feature on a shelf in a kid's room, or anywhere else in your home.
The basket is 50 cm long, 32 cm wide and 24cm deep. Both labels on both sides are bright and in excellent condition.

We have a feeling that a few crafty parents will enjoy making and playing with this fun and quirky circus designed and made by JouJou.
The six-member troupe comes beautifully packaged in a handmade box, and includes the Ringmaster, clown, two circus performers, an elephant and a bear.
All you have to do is cut out the dolls, decorate with the pretty selection of patterned paper provided and join the limbs together using brads (please note, the brads are very tiny and must not be left in the hands of small children).
The circus paper puppets are printed on thick A5 creamy-white paper and the elephant and the bear on even stiffer coloured card stock.

Published by Flammarion, this 1948 copy of SCAF le Phoque is in good condition (slight crease on front cover). Written by Lida, this arctic tale is 35 pages long and beautifully illustrated by Rojan.
